Terms of Use (EULA)

1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using FixMate ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Subscriptions and Auto-Renewal

FixMate offers the following auto-renewing subscription plans:

  • FixMate Pro: $17.99 per month or $149.99 per year — includes 20 AI diagnoses per month, advanced multi-image analysis, detailed repair guides, and parts shopping links.
  • FixMate Business: $49.99 per month or $399.99 per year — includes unlimited AI diagnoses, all Pro features, team member accounts, customer report generation, and priority support.

Auto-Renewal Terms:

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
  • Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
  • You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — no partial refunds for the current period.

3. Free Tier

FixMate offers a free tier that includes 5 AI diagnoses per month, basic repair guides, community forum access, and cost estimates. No payment is required for the free tier.

4. Refund Policy

Subscriptions purchased via Apple In-App Purchase are subject to Apple's refund policy. You may request a refund through Apple's Report a Problem portal within 14 days of purchase. We offer a 7-day satisfaction guarantee — if you are not satisfied, contact support@fixmate.app for assistance.

5. License and Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. The Business plan extends this license for professional repair business use. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer the App.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Upload offensive, illegal, or copyrighted images that you do not have the right to use.
  • Use the App for any unlawful or harmful purpose.
  • Attempt to circumvent diagnosis limits or subscription restrictions.
  • Spam or harass other users in the community forum.

7. AI-Generated Content

Repair diagnoses and guides are generated by AI and may not always be accurate. You are responsible for verifying any diagnosis before attempting repairs. Always follow safety warnings and consult a professional for complex or dangerous repairs.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that diagnoses will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your specific situation.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FixMate shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use of or inability to use the App, including any damages resulting from following AI-generated repair instructions.

10. Account Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Profile page in the App. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
